How much potting mix do you need?

Measure the inside dimensions in centimetres, using the depth you want to fill.

Enter dimensions and a count to compare bag sizes.

This estimates empty-container volume. Tapered pots, root balls and drainage layers reduce the amount needed. This is not a compost application rate.

Before you order soil & compost

What is the minimum order?

Start with one bag: 40 L of potting mix or 20 kg of BioComplete compost. Select a quantity to see the price per bag and merchandise total. Quantity savings apply separately to each product, with delivery charged in addition.

Where do you deliver potting mix and compost from?

Orders leave our Mae Ho Phra farm in Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai, for supported destinations in Thailand. Enter your postcode for an estimate and confirm your subdistrict at checkout. For larger loads, ask our team to check transport options.

Should I choose potting mix or compost?

Use ready-to-use potting mix to fill new containers or repot plants. Use compost to enrich existing soil or growing beds. Compost is a soil amendment, not a complete potting mix; you do not need to buy both.

How is BioComplete compost made?

We compost wood chips, leaves and grasses from our farm with elephant manure at 55–70°C. We inspect batches under the microscope for fungi, bacteria, nematodes and protozoa. This compost also feeds the worms that produce our vermicompost.
