Before you sow

- Fill a tray or small pot with moist seedling or potting mix.
- Sow the seeds about 0.3 cm deep.
- Lettuce seeds need light to sprout, so cover them only lightly. Sow in the cooler part of the year.
- Keep the mix moist but not wet until the seedlings appear.
